Saving the Environment One Glass at a Time

Mug Rug Beauty Shot with Watermark

Disclaimer: I received compensation and/or free product in exchange for creating and posting this project. The project and opinions are mine.

One of our goals as a family is to reduce our water use and that means keeping our dirty dishes under control. On the flip side, we also don't want to overload landfills with disposal dishes. One of the ways we do our part to save the environment is to keep track of our water glasses. We try to only use one per day for each of us and the best way I've found to keep track of our individual glasses is to use a personalized mug rug. We used this one for years, but it was looking a little worn out and sad so I made a new one. One of the things I added to the project was to add an extra space on the mug rug for guests. I used Kunin Felt, which is made from recycled plastic bottles (another environmental win) and embroidered letters from Joy.
