Kitchen Aid Mixer Makeover

Kitchen Aid Mixer Decals www.laurabraydesigns.comI'm a big fan of the Pioneer Woman. My daughter and I record all her shows and watch them together after school. One day, while I was watching and looking at her cool, personalized Kitchen Aid mixer (you can see a photo here), I had a burst of inspiration. Here's how the conversation went in my head:

Me: "Man, I want a cool mixer like that."

Rational Me:  "I don't think Kitchen Aid is going to be coming along and asking to license your personal designs for their mixers anytime soon."

Me: "Whatever.  Are there anymore cookies?"

Kitchen Aid Mixer Decals www.laurabraydesigns.comSeriously though, it got the wheels turning and last week I created my very own designer mixer.  I just bought some repositionable clear window decal paper from my local office supply store and printed out one of my original designs onto the paper.  Then I cut up the design and laid it out on my mixer and Ta-Da!  I am now rocking my very own Laura Bray Designs mixer.  It makes me smile whenever I look at it and, because I used repositionable decal paper, I'm thinking I'll be able to remove the design when I wipe it down or want to change out the design.Kitchen Aid Mixer Decals www.laurabraydesigns.com

      Susanne,

The designs are my own.  I simply scanned some of my doodles into my computer and printed them on the decal paper.  If you don’t feel confident creating your designs, you could download some copyright-free clip art and print that out.

Hello Laura……..How I love how you have 'dressed' your mixer, being English and not the greatest of

artists, could you tell me please what is decal paper – is it like celephane?  Love you work…rock on baby !

I have been mooning over decals for years but my mixer isn’t into roses or flames. I LOVE THIS! Thank you for posting!
