Felt Heart Pin

Felt Valentine's Day Pin www.laurabraydesigns.com

Isn't this the sweetest little heart?  Almost as sweet as those cute little hands holding it.  It's really easy to make too.

Supplies:

  • Felt Scraps
  • Sequins
  • Embroidery Thread
  • Stuffing
  • Pin back

Directions:

  1. Using your felt scraps, cut out two small hearts.
  2. Sew sequins onto one of the felt hearts. Just scatter them around.  I used a French Knot stitch to attach them.
  3. Sew the hearts together with a blanket or whip stitch.  Make sure you leave a little hole, so you can stuff the heart, then continue sewing around it and close it up.
  4. Sew a pin back onto it.
  5. Pin it to your shirt, tote bag, scarf, hat, or wherever you want to wear your heart.  Your sleeve perhaps?Felt Valentine's Day Pin www.laurabraydesigns.com

This may be the cutest thing I have ever seen!  LOVE IT!
I am visiting from Skip to my Lou, and I have been looking through all your projects.  You have some great, great stuff here!  I would love it if you'd come over and link up some of your OLDER posts (that's right, Older).  I host and oldie's link party, where we strive to give a little more exposure to those old, awesome posts that we were writing when only our moms and husbands were reading our blogs (or was that just me?!?)
    So, consider stopping by!
