Easy DIY Tote Bag & A Giveaway!

DIY Tote Bag by Laura Bray DesignsMy regular readers know my love of tote bags. I take them shopping (to save the environment) and I have one designated for each of my daughter's activites. I even have one packed and ready so, when we are out and about, my daughter has a few things to keep her busy and maybe a snack or two. When she was younger, that bag kept many meltdowns at bay. Now that she is older, it keeps the eye rolling to a minimum.

Today, I'm happy to say that I have another Lauras Are Cool post! This time, iLovetoCreate sent us some jersey tote bags (yay!) and some Tulip Fabric Markers . I did a really quick project. I just slipped a little cardboard between the sides of the tote, and got to doodling. Sweet and simple, but it makes the tote bag special. The fabric markers are so easy to use! You just let them dry for 24 hours-no heat setting! Which means no ironing. Which means they are great to give the kids to use!

Our other, Lauras are Cool sponsor this month is Udderly Smooth. They make the best hand creams around and it's especially great for crafters. I know I wash my hands A LOT when I'm craftying and since I've started using Udderly Smooth Hand Cream after my hand wash, my cuticles aren't peeling anymore. Yay!

As usual, all the cool Lauras did a project using the Tulip Fabric Markers. You can see all their crafty goodness by following the links below.

There's a chance to win a $50.00 Gift Card to Joann's Fabrics, a craft stash, and some Udderly Smooth Handcream. Just enter to win.
