DIY Halloween Table Decorations

Easy Halloween Table Decoration: LauraBrayDesigns.comHere's my latest project for the Buttons Galore and More Design Team!  I used one of there Haberdashery Trim Collage Kits to create some quick and easy DIY Halloween table decorations.  Get the full tutorial here.

For the napkins themselves, I just cut some orange & white gingham into 12 inch squares and sewed a 1/4" hem around all the sides.  Then I used a chicken scratch embroidery technique in black embroidery floss to give them a little extra punch.  I love stitching chicken scratch embroidery.  There's something really relaxing about it and I love how the finished product looks.

Thanks Leslie.  What kinds of projects have you used chicken scratch embroidery on?

I adore Holiday table decor.  Decorating a table is my favorite thing about the Holiday decorations.   I wish I had an old fashioned butler pantry to store tons of table decor items and dishware.   Love this project.
