Girls’ Craft Night

Deflecto Beauty Shot-Final

The designers at Designer Craft Connection are at it again! This month, Deflecto asked us to create a celebration using their 3 Tier Dessert Stand, Beveled Frame, and Versagrip Double Clip Sign Holder I was really excited about this challenge because I've been coveting the dessert stand since I saw it at CHA in January! It holds cupcakes, cake pops, or anything else you can imagine. I decided to set mine up for a craft party and used the dessert stand to hold festive cups filled with craft supplies.

I cut some patterned transparency papers and attached it to the tiers with Adtech Dot Glue Runner . It's best to do this step before you put the cake stand together-just make sure you use a craft knife to cut out the slots where the tiers slide onto the base. I also added some scrapbook paper strips around the edges to give the stand a pop of color.

The clip sign holder works beautifully for clipping signs onto the top of the cake stand and the frame is just plain fun! I have to say Deflecto's clear, acrylic products are just begging for crafters to get inspired and dress them up!

  7. What a great use for the coveted printed transparencies… they are way too pretty to be stuck in the scrapbook. I too may steal away the cupcake display for use in the craft room after the party is over 🙂
